Unlike traditional swim programs that put large
groups of students in an even bigger pool, SwimLabs focuses specifically
on the
fundamental issue of technique in a smaller individualized setting.
At SwimLabs, we believe that once you’ve perfected your
technique you’ll be a better, faster  swimmer. To help you
do that, the SwimLabs program relies on three critical components:
The Endless Pool
We start with the fully controlled and optimal instructional setting
of the Endless Pool and its advanced flume technology, where we
can adjust flow, speed and temperature to ensure just the right
environment. With a mirrored bottom that provides immediate and
constant feedback, the Endless Pool enables you to begin improving
from your very first stroke.
For adult swimmers and triathletes, the Endless Pool closely simulates
the realities of open water swimming. Unlike traditional pools,
SwimLabs Endless Pools provide an unrivaled opportunity to experience
distance swimming without the usual walls and turns.
 Advanced Diagnostic Tools
Our SwimLabs coaches also utilize the latest in computer software
and video technology to provide immediate feedback. Using video
imagery and Dartfish, the powerful software program utilized at
the US Olympic Training Center, SwimLabs can instantly compare
your stroke to one that exhibits “perfect” technique,
allowing you to make the minor, or major, adjustments necessary
to perfect your own technique. Students can have their stroke and/or
position in the water compared to that of Michael Phelps, Ian Crocker,
Katie Hoff, Aaron Piersol or other national or world champion.
SwimLabs coaches can then utilize special diagnostic tools to highlight
even the most minute, technical flaws in each student’s stroke,
making for more immediate and corrective action. Students’ video
analysis can then be uploaded and viewed later via the internet
Certified Coaches
SwimLabs is a US Swim Schools Association member and all of our
coaches are highly trained and certified. What’s more, with
the Endless Pool, your coach is never more than a few feet away,
ensuring constant instruction and immediate feedback.
