Hi, Giff,
This is Jeanette Gryskevich from West Virginia who came in 2 weeks
ago and worked with me on my left arm and keeping my legs
together. Well, I have had 2 practices with those drills
and I have taken 15 seconds off my time already!! I am so
excited.
My next triathlon is Aug. 25 with a 330 yard swim with a time no
longer than 9:50. Last year, my time was 9:30, today it was 9:15.
I hope to shave off maybe 5-10 more seconds off.
Thanks, again, Jeanette
Hello,
I had taken 3 or 4 sessions from you over the course of the last 10 months or
so. I did not have a competitive swimming background at all, and had not swam
laps prior to december, 2006. I just completed the Silverman full distance triathlon
on Sunday, with a swim time of 1:21.
I was very pleased with the time, and thank you guys for helping me to learn
the right techniques, so that I didn't come out of the water spent, but was able
to enjoy that part of the event much more than I would have thought. I had a
half iron distance swim time of :33 in September, for which I was also very happy.
Swimming may not be my strength, but I now also don't consider it a weakness.
Thank you,
Louis Shuba
“ Swim efficiency is most important in swimming. The
solution? Get consistent stroke feedback. This is the only
way to find and maintain a good stroke. Going by feel doesn’t
cut it in the pool.”
Triathlete Magazine, May 2006.
"Meredith,
I just had to let you know how well Harrison has been doing
with his swimming while we’ve
been in Breckenridge. The whole reason I wanted Harrison in
particular to
participate in Swim Jam
was to him get
comfortable in the water before our vacation. We’ve
taken both Hannah
and Harrison swimming
every single day at least twice a day since
we’ve
been here,
and Harrison is actually swimming! He
can’t
seem to get enough of it. I
couldn’t
have even expected this much of an improvement,
and I give every ounce of credit to the instructors who
have worked with him over those last two weeks.
“Your facility and instruction
were great....In one session I cut 4
minutes off my 2000 meter time
and eliminated all my shoulder and
lower back fatigue. My body thanks
you. Great job, you guys.”
Deric Swanson, triathlete.
So please
pass along my gratitude, and we’re
looking forward to
lessons next week!"

"Just wanted to extend a huge
thank you for the "swim
lesson" I
received yesterday. The facility and the instruction were great...
and today I put your advice to good use. In one session I was
able
to cut 4 minutes off my 2000m time and eliminate all my shoulder/
lower back fatigue. Great job you guys. My body thanks you."

“Because the student swims in place against an adjustable
current, it is easy for a coach to improve stroke mechanics.
The current accentuates the advantages of good technique, and
the underwater swim mirror provides instant feedback on your
stroke technique and body rotation. It’s a lot of fun.”
Rowdy Gaines, Olympic Gold Medalist.
"Swimlabs offers a unique environment for instruction
in stroke technique. The combination of the underwater mirrors
and high-resloution video provides immediate feedback, and
I was able to make stroke improvements rapidly. The staff at
Swimlabs are superb! After several years of stagnating swimming
times, Swimlabs helped me correct some flaws, and after just
a few sessions, I recorded my best ever time as a masters swimmer!
I highly recommend swim labs for swimmers at levels. " -

“I’ve had 4 sessions in the endless pool and
every time they’ve taken video and showed me exactly
what I was doing wrong. I could see it and fix it. I’m
getting better and my times are coming down.”
Ellen, 14-year old competitive swimmer.
