DRY LAND, SPEED, AND STRENGTH TRAINING
This is a 45-minute class geared towards all ages, swimmers, and triathletes. During this out of the pool class, you will work on strengthening core muscles groups, interior shoulder muscles to prevent injury, and fast twitch muscle development. Each week will be different and focus on all around, even, body strength. Participants must be 8 years old and proficient in freestyle and are required to bring sturdy athletic shoes.
The skills accomplished in the class include:
- - Various body weight exercises that can be performed anywhere
- - Swimming specific strength training with resistance bands and medicine balls
- Strong exterior and interior abdominal muscles to prevent injury
