FAQS 

Q. How do I sign up for Group Lessons or ParentTot Lessons?

A. You are welcome to enroll in classes via our website or you can call us. If you are unsure of which class level is appropriate, you can use our Level Finder or we can help you with that over the phone.

Q. What do I need to bring to my lesson?

A. Please bring a towel, goggles, cap or hair tie (for swimmers with long hair), and a swimsuit. All of these items are available to purchase at SwimLabs. ParentTot swimmers and swimmers who are not potty-trained, are required to wear an approved waterproof diaper.

Q. Do you offer make-ups for missed classes?

A. We understand that things happen and occasionally your swimmer will need to miss a class. For all swimmers in our recurring classes, we offer one make-up class per month. To schedule that, please call us and we can get it scheduled. For swimmers on one of our packages, we require 24-hours notice prior to your lesson for all cancelations and reschedules. Without the notification, we do charge a late fee - $25 for Video Analysis lessons and $40 for Elite lessons.

Q. Do I get a discount for multiple children?

A. We do offer a discount for multiple children in our recurring classes. The second swimmer will receive a 4% discount off their class fee. Our discount increases if you have a third swimmer (8% off) and fourth swimmer (12%). 

Q. Are these the only pools you have?

A. Yes, we teach in the SwimLabs Pools because they are warm-water pools built with benches that go all around the perimeter and have a maximum depth of 3 ½ feet. This means that all of our lessons, whether private or group, take place in a small space with no more than four participants in the pool. Another important feature of our pools is the bar mounted at the front of each pool, directly in the path of the current. The bar creates a stationary position in the pool that we use at every level of our lessons, from beginning students with fears of the water, to our competitive stroke analysis sessions. Like our other technique building tools, the bar allows us to isolate different swimming techniques in a controlled environment. We have created the 100 Stroke Club that we use to benchmark measurement for swimming in a standard 25 yard pool.

Q. How do I stop or suspend my Auto Pay?

To withdraw from lessons, log in to your account via the customer portal on the SwimLabs Swim School website (www.swimlabs.com) and complete the withdraw option for your student. For the protection of our customers, withdrawing via the customer portal is the only valid means of signaling your desire to withdraw. Verbal or email withdrawal notifications are not valid. In order to avoid being charged for the next month of lessons, you must withdraw your student on or before the 15th of each month. If you submit a withdrawal form between the 15th and the 24th, we can remove your student/students from lessons with a $30 per person late withdrawal fee. Withdrawals that are submitted between the 25th and the end of the month can be removed from lessons and we will refund 50% off your tuition with no late withdrawal fee. Withdrawals submitted between the 1st and 7th for the same month can be removed from lessons and we will refund 25% of their tuition with no late withdrawal fee. Withdrawals submitted after the 7th for the same month there will be no refund.

Q. Can I sign my child up to take group classes only every other week?

A. Group classes must be once a week because we have designed our program to work the best when we see swimmers on a consistent once-a-week basis.

Q. What is your cancellation policy for Private Lessons?

A. For all packages of Private, Semi-Private, and Elite lessons, SwimLabs requires 24-hour notice for cancellations. All recurring lessons require notice by the 15th of the month prior to stopping lessons.
