Jenny Hanley, SwimLabs Highlands Ranch Operations and Marketing Director

Jenny first started with SwimLabs, her dad Mike Mann's business, in April 2012 as part of the client services team. She then moved to CA to open an manage the SwimLabs Orange County from July 2013 - March 2014. Upon her return home, she re-joined the SwimLabs Highlands Ranch team as the marketing director and began helping to franchise the business.

When SwimLabs was acquired in February 2017 by Streamline Brands, Jenny joined the Streamline marketing team to help launch and train locations, manage the marketing content and social media, market the franchise business, and more!

Jenny lives in Highlands Ranch with her husband, Ryan, and daughters, Collins and Tatum.

I joined the SwimLabs front desk team in 2016, after bringing my sons here for Competitive Video Analysis lessons.  Prior to being a mom, I was a kindergarten teacher.  My favorite part of coming to work every day is the interaction with the littles who are learning to swim, the competitive swimmers who are trying to make zones cuts and improve their times, and the adults who are furthering a life skill!

I'm a Colorado native. Went to Stanley Lake HS and graduated from CSU with a degree in equine science. I'm a professional horse trainer and riding instructor and I've worked in the horse industry for 25 years. I didn't learn how to swim until 2010 when I decided to train for my first triathlon in an attempt to overcome my fear of the open water. It took me 6 months to be able to swim a continuous 100 meters! Since then I've completed 6 half-iron distance (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run) triathlons, 2 marathons, a 5 day bike tour through WY and ID totaling over 500 miles and countless sprint and olympic triathlons and half marathons. In 2019, I earned my personal trainer certification through the American Council on Exercise in 2019. I began coaching for Altitude Multisport in 2020 and joined SwimLabs as an instructor in January of the same year. As a triathlete, freestyle is my stroke of choice and in 2021 I hope to complete my first full iron distance triathlon (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run) in Chattanooga TN.

Swimming has been a big part of my life – I grew up in the Littleton area swimming at both the summer club level as well as competitively. I started swimming competitively around the age of 12 and swam for Foothills Swim Team excelling in both butterfly and breaststroke events. I lifeguarded and taught swim lessons throughout high school and college. I swam two years at a D1 college (Tulane University) before quitting in order to focus on my academics. I hung up my suit for several years while I started a family. My three children all swam competitively for many years and now that they are grown and in college, I miss being around the pool all of the time. This is why I choose to work at SwimLabs! I also currently work as a statistician at Denver Health full time.

Some of her greatest childhood memories were swimming related- swim meets, snorkeling, and scuba diving around the world Since she was 4, she swam for Dayton Country Club until her teenage years where she swam for her high school team. Two of Laurie's greatest passions are water and children. Starting at 18, Laurie was fortunate enough to combine both passions by teaching swimming to kids. She is married now and has 3 children. She loves teaching people water safety in addition to teaching how swimming can become a lifelong activity! Laurie's goal is to encourage everyone to enjoy the water as much as she has. If people are confident, safe swimmers, it opens up a whole world of opportunities to explore!

I am a junior at Cherry Creek High School, and I am involved in the swim team, NHS, as well as a medical careers program. I have been swimming since I was very young, but my swimming career began on my neighborhood summer swim team called the Foxridge Foxes. I have had the joy and the honor of coaching at Foxridge this past summer, and I have discovered a love for teaching kids how to swim. I swim on a competitive swim team called Aquawolves, which has grown my love for the sport even more! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, and playing with my cat! I have two older brothers, who have encouraged and motivated me in every aspect of my life. Family is a very important to me, so being a part of the family at SwimLabs makes me so excited!

Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada her growing years were always active ones. Skiing, horseback riding, swimming, volleyball, camping … and when not participating she was teaching or coaching them. An Elite volleyball player in High School and College. Early adulthood training and showing horses filled the years. Next marriage and motherhood made her cup runneth over…5 kiddos!! And all the parenting, volunteering, coaching and patience that entails. Through it all (last 20 years) swimming has been her happy place. Teaching groups and privates from 6 months to 60 years, she has taught them all. Her specialty though might be the little ones, so rewarding to see them smile with success and gain confidence. If you need references, you could ask any of her 6 pool confident grandchildren! Brenda is very excited to be part of the SwimLabs Family!

Hi I’m Willa, I’m 19 years old. I graduated from Cherry Creek High School earlier this year where I swam on the swim team all four years, and I also was involved in DECA along with running Eco Action Club. Throughout high school, I had the privilege to coach for my summer swim team, the Preserve Piranhas! Coaching summer team helped me realize how much I love coaching kids since swimming has been a part of my life forever. I’ve been swimming competitively since I was about 5 years old, and my favorite strokes are tied for breaststroke and butterfly! I also grew up in Auckland, New Zealand where I gained a passion for doing open water swims, on top of regular swimming. I hope to help more kids find their passion in swimming just like I did!

Kinsey is a 2021 graduate of Cherry Creel High. She is currently attending Metropolitan State University Denver majoring in Marketing and minoring in French. Kinsey has been involved in sports of all kinds since she was only a few months old. She started swim lessons at 18 months. Kinsey did gymnastics for 7 years starting at the age of 4 and a handful of other sports in her younger years. She officially started competitive swimming at the age of 11 and quickly grew a love for the sport. Her passion for swimming boosted her motivation and dream to swim in college. Kinsey was on the Junior Varsity swim team her freshman year and Varsity swim team her sophomore and Junior year. Unfortunately, at the end of her junior year season, her doctor informed her that she would need hip surgery and wouldn’t be able to swim for a year. This news didn’t stop her from still being involved in the sport. She began to teach lessons at her local pool and coach her sister’s synchronized swim team on stroke technique. Kinsey still hopes to swim more in her future and is interested in joining the Masters team. Kinsey has made many connections through swimming that have led to jobs and opportunities and she wishes to continue being involved in the sport even through the challenges that may come up along her journey.

Hi, my name is Nia Mantle and I am currently a senior at Arapahoe High School. I started swimming with my neighborhood swim team, the Sea Lions, when I was about 4 years old and I now get to spend my summers coaching for them. I swam for the Denver Tritons Swim Team for three years before starting my high school swim career at Arapahoe. Swimming has been a huge part of my life and I will always be excited to pass on my love and knowledge of swimming to other people. My hope for all kids is that they get to experience the joys of swimming as well as the experiences that come from being part of a team, SwimLabs, or otherwise. I love being able to see all of my kids grow into both amazing people and swimmers. When I am not swimming or coaching I love to spend my time camping, playing soccer, or river rafting!
