Kristin Mai, M.S., OTR/L, is an occupational therapist who has worked with children for over 20 years and has experience in both the school and clinical settings. Kristin currently provides school based occupational therapy services to students with special needs. Kristin also enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two daughters, loves running, and enjoys many other sports throughout the year.
Hannah is a Sophomore at Sierra College currently studying environmental science. She loves spending time with her black lab and golden-doodle. She enjoys playing beach volleyball and paddle-boarding. She's so excited to join the Swimlabs team!
Brandon is an alumni of the Arizona State University Swim Team. He is working at Swim Labs, while also coaching for Aquasol Swim Team in Cameron Park. During his swimming career, he specialized in the 200 / 400 IM, and 100 / 200 Breaststroke. His favorite strokes to coach are Breaststroke and Butterfly. Brandon has a passion for teaching and truly enjoys helping swimmers cultivate their passion for swimming!
Maggie Groves graduated from Folsom lake college with an AA in Administration of Justice and is currently attending Arizona State University, working on a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology. Maggie went to Union Mine High School where she swam all four years. Her main competitions were the 200yrd Freestyle and the 200 ‘IM’.
Alan has been a swim coach since 2004. His extensive coaching experience includes summer leagues, USA teams, and high school teams. He is currently running the Bronze and Junior two groups at Aquasol.
I’m Mathew, a senior at Oak Ridge High School and am a member of the Sierra Marlins Swim team. I’ve been swimming for almost all my life and I really appreciate being able to share an enthusiastic and passionate swimming environment.
Logan is a student at Folsom Lake College studying kinesiology. He was a competitive swimmer at Aquasol for many years. His favorite strokes are butterfly and freestyle. His favorite races while swimming were the 1650 freestyle and 500 freestyle. He has been coaching swim for about 3 years now and loves teaching something he’s loved his whole life.
I am a freshman at Folsom Lake College. I was on the swim team during my freshman year at Hillsdale High School before I moved to Folsom. I love painting, baking and Disney. My favorite stroke is freestyle.
Ally is a recent graduate from San Diego State University. Growing up, she played all kinds of sports and loved swimming. She swam for the Broadstone Barracudas and her favorite stroke was breastroke! Ally loves working with students of all ages and watching students’ progress in their skills.
Graduate of Cosumnes River College with a degree in Social and Behavioral Science. I am a Vocational Technician, counseling high school students with disabilities in their transition from high school to their careers. I have enjoyed running since I was 14 years old and have competed in several Mud Runs and the California International Marathon. While in training, decided to take up swimming. I didn’t know how to swim but determined to learn. With help from You Tube and the lifeguards I learned one stroke at a time. I found that I am a strong swimmer! I love sharing my love of swimming with others and celebrating their success.
