Kristin Mai, M.S., OTR/L, is an occupational therapist who has worked with children for over 20 years and has experience in both the school and clinical settings. Kristin currently provides school based occupational therapy services to students with special needs. Kristin also enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two daughters, loves running, and enjoys many other sports throughout the year.
Savanna is a junior at Pacific Crest Academy. At the moment, she is planning on attending the Coast Guard Academy after graduation. She has been swimming since she was 7 years old and it has always been a passion of hers. In her spare time she likes to read, a lot. She is excited to be a part of the SwimLabs team and looks forward to meeting all of the kiddos and families!
Hannah is a Sophomore at Sierra College currently studying environmental science. She loves spending time with her black lab and golden-doodle. She enjoys playing beach volleyball and paddle-boarding. She's so excited to join the Swimlabs team!
Sophia loves swimming and being a part of the SwimLabs family! She has swam her whole life and started teaching swim lessons in 2015. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University Spring 2023 she has returned as an instructor as well as the SafeSplash On-Site Coordinator for the Rancho Cordova and Citrus Heights locations. Sophia enjoys spreading knowledge about water safety and teaching the life skill of swim!
Brandon is an alumni of the Arizona State University Swim Team. He is working at Swim Labs, while also coaching for Aquasol Swim Team in Cameron Park. During his swimming career, he specialized in the 200 / 400 IM, and 100 / 200 Breaststroke. His favorite strokes to coach are Breaststroke and Butterfly. Brandon has a passion for teaching and truly enjoys helping swimmers cultivate their passion for swimming!
Maggie Groves graduated from Folsom lake college with an AA in Administration of Justice and is currently attending Arizona State University, working on a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology. Maggie went to Union Mine High School where she swam all four years. Her main competitions were the 200yrd Freestyle and the 200 ‘IM’.
Alan has been a swim coach since 2004. His extensive coaching experience includes summer leagues, USA teams, and high school teams. He is currently running the Bronze and Junior two groups at Aquasol.
I’m Mathew, a senior at Oak Ridge High School and am a member of the Sierra Marlins Swim team. I’ve been swimming for almost all my life and I really appreciate being able to share an enthusiastic and passionate swimming environment.
Bryson competitively swam for 4 years and loves being in the water. He believes that swimming is an important and necessary life skill. He is excited to be able to pass on his love for swimming to others!
Nicole works for our SwimLabs and SafeSplash locations. She swam competitively for 4 years and her favorite stroke is butterfly. She also works part time at Raising Canes. Nicole is a huge Disney fan and loves to watch movies and sing in her free time!
