Our Team

My husband, Shawn, and I live in Fort Mill with two wonderful daughters and are proud owners of SafeSplash + SwimLabs Swim School – Fort Mill. Becoming safe, confident swimmers is such a critical skill for children to learn. I am very excited to bring the top-notch learn-to-swim curriculum of SafeSplash, paired with the outstanding elite stroke analysis program of SwimLabs to Fort Mill and the Greater Charlotte area! Swimming has brought so many wonderful memories to my life growing up and now I get to see the joy that being able to swim brings to my family. I look forward to sharing this joy with your family and seeing you at the pool.

I began swimming year round at the age of 9 after developing a very strong passion for the sport through swim camps. My dedication for the sport led me to swim as a Louisville Cardinal and represent my team as our Women’s Captain my senior year. I have so many incredible memories and friendships that I will cherish throughout the rest of my life that stemmed from many years of swimming competitively. I consider myself a "swammer" but continue to swim weekly as one of my favorite forms of exercise. To me, the water is freeing and where I will always feel at home. My passion and love for swimming are what drive me to be continually involved in the sport. I love teaching any and all skill levels from first time beginners to competitive athletes.

As a child, I learned to swim at a local municipal swimming pool and have many wonderful childhood memories swimming with family and friends over the years. My favorite strokes are freestyle and side stroke. Prior to working at the swim school, I worked for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio as a civilian Program Management Analyst. I’ve always enjoyed working with children and love being a part of the SafeSplash + SwimLabs family, helping kiddos and adults become safe, competent swimmers. I have a Chihuahua named Charlie, love singing karaoke and listening to live music.
