Chris has an unbridled passion for swimming and has been involved with the sport for the majority of his life. Chris's first college coaching job was at the University of Missouri where he helped transform the Tigers into a top-25 ranked DI program. After his time at Missouri, Chris traveled east to become the Assistant Coach for the men’s program at The Ohio State University. During this time, he was mentored by B1G Coach of the Year Bill Wadley. In addition to his years spent as an assistant coach, Chris was the Women’s Head Coach at the University of Toledo. Prior to his coaching career, Chris was an accomplished swimmer himself. The peak of Chris’ swimming career is when he qualified for the 2000 USA Olympic Trials in the 100 and 200 Backstroke events.
