Job Description

Supports company operations by maintaining facilities, and equipment; repairing damages; recommending new systems and equipment; ensuring that all facilities operate smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance; sets policies and procedures; arranges for measurable improvement tracking.
• Provides successful operation and maintenance of major building systems and components for all properties in our business.
• Performs repair, inspections and installation of equipment; ensures all work is completed professionally and properly; complies with safety procedures and standards.
• Oversees and directs staff with regard to projects; trouble-shoots building related problems; coordinates due diligence assessments for prospective purchases.
• Contributes strategic initiatives for maintenance and operations savings opportunities.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Description

SwimLabs Swim School in Encinitas, CA is looking to hire 1-2 Lobby Assistants for a very busy, fast-paced entry-level position to fill any of the following shifts:

• Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs: 3:00pm - 7:30pm
• Saturday/Sunday: 9:00am - 1:00pm

Entry-Level Part-Time Position - $13.00/hour

Responsibilities

With COVID-19 safety requirements, our Lobby Assistants will work to help ensure the safety, health & cleanliness of our facility & clients. This position is responsible for:

• Greeting families and swimmers as they enter the facility
• Checking temperatures and providing hand sanitizer to clients as they enter the facility
• Guiding swimmers to their correct pool for their swim lesson
• Completing daily reports using Microsoft Office: Word & Excel
• Sanitizing and cleaning lobby chairs, surfaces, doors, restrooms, changing rooms

Job Description

SwimLabs Swim School offer year-round, indoor swim lessons for children and adults. The majority of lessons are for children 6 months old - 8 years old but we teach swimmers of all ages and abilities. We also work with competitive swimmers and triathletes providing a level of swim analysis and coaching not available anywhere in San Diego.

Looking for Instructors for any of the following shifts:

• Monday: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
• Tuesday: 2:30pm - 6:30pm
• Wednesday: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
• Thursday: 2:00pm - 6:30pm
• Friday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 9:30am - 2:00pm
• Sunday: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay $15 - $18 per hour

Responsibilities

• Teaching swim lessons to all ages and abilities
• Learn and teach the SwimLabs swim progression method
• Daily light-housekeeping work on pools and facility
• Communicate and interact with children and adults
• If applicable, you could be trained as a "Level 2" instructor where you would work with our advanced technology providing 360 video stroke analysis and coaching to competitive swimmers, triathletes, openwater swimmers and professional athletes

Qualifications

• A passion to teach and enjoy working with children of all ages
• Must enjoy the water
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults
• Willingness to learn and execute the SwimLabs Swim School teaching method
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Ability to commit to and work a consistent weekly schedule
• Must pass drug test and background check

Experience:

• Swim Instructor: 1 year (preferred)
• Teaching Group: 1 year (preferred)
• Working with children: 1 year (preferred)
