Our Team

I’ve always been passionate about sports! Swimming, in particular, is very close to my heart. I spent all my summers as a kid in the water with my siblings while my dad taught us to swim. It left me with very fond memories; I wanted to create those same memories with my son.

When it was time for him to start learning, we faced a lot of challenges because he was afraid of water. We spent a long time exploring different options until we finally found a teacher who understood him, and she helped him blossom into the swimmer he is today. He went on to absolutely love the water and swam competitively until college.

I want to be able to give back to my community, and allow them to foster the same memories that swimming created for me and my son. I saw firsthand how difficult it can be to find swimming lessons that are both effective and engaging. That’s why I decided to open up this school - not only will it give jobs to those passionate teachers, it will enable people of all ages to take that first step on their swimming journey.

I am truly looking forward to working with you all! I can’t wait to help people learn this important life skill and help them make memories!

Meagan is a dedicated mother of two and a seasoned professional in the aquatics field with over 26 years of experience. With a passion for water safety and a commitment to community outreach, she currently serves as the Aquatics General Manager of SafeSplash + SwimLabs in Newington, Connecticut. 

Meagan discovered her love for aquatics at a young age and has been immersed in the world of swimming ever since. Her journey began as a lifeguard and instructor, where she found joy in teaching individuals of all ages how to swim confidently and safely. Over the years, Meagan honed her skills, progressing into various roles within the aquatics industry. 

Having spent more than two decades in the field, she has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of swimming. Meagan understands the importance of instilling water safety skills early on and believes that everyone should have access to quality swim instruction. 

Now, as the Aquatics General Manager of SafeSplash + SwimLabs, Meagan is thrilled to lead a team dedicated to spreading water safety and awareness throughout the community. Meagan is committed to creating a welcoming environment where individuals of all ages can learn, grow, and thrive in the water. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Meagan is a devoted mother who understands the significance of fostering a love for swimming in her own children. She believes that swimming is not only a valuable life skill, but also a source of joy, confidence, and personal growth. 

In her free time, Meagan enjoys spending quality time with her family by the water, whether it's at the beach, pool, or fishing. She is excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact in her community by sharing her passion for aquatics and empowering others to become strong, confident swimmers.
